Bridget Hall Biography

Bridget Hall was born December 12, 1977, in Springdale, Arkansas; she was later raised in Dallas, Texas. After moving to Dallas at the age of four with her brother Josh and her mother, she became enamored with the idea of modeling at a very early age. She signed her first modeling contract at the age of nine with a company called The Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas. She dropped out of school at the age of fifteen to pursue modeling full-time. Bridget continued her pursuit of modeling stardom over the next few years. In 1992, the Hazel-eyed blonde signed with the Ford Modeling Agency, which helped catapult her to the top of her domain. In fact, she was listed in Forbes magazine as one of the top ten best-paid supermodels in the world. Later she was kicked out of Ford Models President Eileen Ford's home for her excessively wild behavior. She has graced the cover of every major fashion magazine in the world; she has worked for many big companies such as IMG, Why Not and Ford. Her recent advertising work includes ads for Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Versace Couture, Valentino, Pepsi and Maybelline. She also did widely recognized work for Guess, Bill Blass, Patek Phillipe watches, Polo Sport and Christian Dior.

She has become one of the most favored cover girls in the industry, mostly due to her striking lips, natural beauty and athletic yet feminine style. She has graced the covers of Allure US, Elle Italia three times in 1996, Elle US, Esquire Marie Claire and Glamour. In 1997, she did covers for Allure, Flare Canada, Glamour and Zest UK. 1998 was her busiest year appearing on covers for Arena UK, Cosmopolitain US, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire Duetsch, The Face UK, Frank UK, Vogue Espana, and Vogue UK. In 1999, she was seen on Marie Claire Italia and US magazines. She has been the first choice for countless designers, all of whom thoroughly enjoy working with her. She appeared in the Spring/Summer 1999 Ready to wear shows for Alexander McQueen, Antonio Berardi, Badgley Mischka, Bill Blass, Byblos, Carolina Herrera, Celine, Chanel, Chloe, Costume National, Daryl K, Donna Karan, Ellen Tracy, Fendi, Givenchy, John Bartlett, Julien Macdonald, Lanvin, Mark Eisen, Matthew Williamson, MaxMara, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, Paco Rabanne, Paul Smith, Prada, Sonia Rykiel, Strenesse, Valentino, Versus, Vivienne Westwood, Vivienne Westwood - Red Label. All that, and that just covers Spring/Summer!

Hall also appeared in a 1997 movie called Scratch the Surface, starring Whitney Houston, Phoebe Cates and Brooke Shields. She has her own company called Bridget Hall Inc., and came out with her own calendar in 1996. She also appeared in the Pirelli calendar of 1999. Going back and forth between New York and Dallas, she has to juggle her schedule to find time for some of her favorite hobbies, which include playing pool, jet skiing and swimming. She is also an expert snowboarder, and spends a considerable amount of time in Vermont and Telluride, where she prefers to snowboard. A big fan of rap music, Bridget also enjoys reading, drawing and playing volleyball. Being from Dallas, she is a huge Cowboys fan, and she attends the University of Nebraska. Although she is unmarried, she had been dating actor Norman Reedus for some time a few years back. Her goals for the future are to continue her modeling career, and she would also like to try her hand at acting.
